A note before you come

You don't have to have it all together.

So many churches feel so different. You may be asking yourself "Will my kids have fun?" or "Will they be weird?" or "Will I even be welcome if I'm new?" We understand.

We're a family church, and our prayer is that you'll feel that the moment you walk in. You are important to us, and we're ready to greet you. Our Thursday and Sunday services are an opportunity for people to come and enjoy time together — whether it's their first time or they've been coming for years. Being in community impacts lives and reminds us that we can't go through life alone.

What to expect

Here's what Sunday actually looks like.

Casual & Relaxed

Thursday evening and Sunday services at FAITH are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcome as our guest. You'll enjoy being treated like family whether it's your first time or your thousandth.

Kids Are Safe & Loved

FAITH has a kids' ministry designed with your child in mind. Every Sunday, babies through 5th grade experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Check them into our kids' area 15 minutes before services.

Music You'll Love

At our 9:30a Sunday service, you'll hear a modern band and orchestra and a real, relevant message from Pastor Tim or one of our pastors. Our 6:45p Thursday service has the same message in a more minimal, stripped-back music setting. At 11:00a on Sunday, a choir and orchestra lead the same message in a classic setting.

Free — and We Mean It

Leave your wallet at home. We take up a collection from our church family, but we don't expect a cent from you. We do, however, want to give to you — free coffee, free wifi, and a welcome at the Connection Center.

A Welcome at the Door

When you walk through the door, look for our Connection Center in the lobby. Someone will be watching for you — ready to show you around, answer any questions you may have, and make sure you don't feel lost.

No Awkward Moments

You won't be asked to stand up, raise a hand, or introduce yourself. We don't do that. Come in, sit wherever you'd like, and stay as long (or as briefly) as you'd like.

Kids & families

What happens with the kids.

We know dropping kids off somewhere new is a big deal. So here's exactly how it works:

  • Check-in opens 15 minutes before service. Head to the kids' check-in desk when you arrive — greeters will be watching for you.
  • We'll give you a matching tag. One for your child, one for you. No one picks them up without your tag.
  • Every volunteer is background-checked. Every single one. Safety is never casual for us.
  • Babies through 5th grade have age-appropriate spaces, lessons, and activities.
  • Two different kids programs on Sunday. At 9:30a, FAITH Kids is our version of Sunday School — running at the same time as Modern Worship for the adults. At 11a, Kids Worship runs alongside Classic Worship — a kid-sized worship service all their own. If your kids stay for both hours, they get two completely different experiences.

Frequently asked

Questions people actually ask us.

What do people wear?

Normal clothes — whatever's comfortable. Some folks dress up, some don't. No need to be fancy.

How long is the service?

We plan for 60 minutes and rarely run much longer. That's on purpose — we'd rather you have time to meet people, talk, and connect afterward than feel rushed out the door.

What's the difference between Modern and Classic worship?

Modern Worship (Thursday 6:45p and Sunday 9:30a) is led by a contemporary band. On Sunday mornings the band is joined by our orchestra; Thursday nights are a more stripped-back, minimal setting. Classic Worship (Sunday 11:00a) features a choir with orchestra. Same pastor, same message, different music styles — pick whatever speaks to you.

Will I be asked to stand up or introduce myself?

No. We don't single out guests. You can slip in, sit down, and just be — nobody will call on you or make you wear a "visitor" sticker.

What about the offering?

We don't pass a plate during the service. Instead, you'll find ushers at the doors with a place to give if you'd like to — but guests are never expected to. Leave your wallet in the car if you want to. This week, we'd just like to meet you.

Can I bring my kids straight into the service?

Of course — bring them in and sit wherever works. On Thursday nights there's no separate kids ministry, so we invite your little ones to sit with mom and dad right in the service. On Sunday, most families love having the kids in their own space. We run two different programs: FAITH Kids at 9:30a (our version of Sunday School, during Modern Worship) and Kids Worship at 11a (a kid-sized worship service, during Classic Worship). Check them in 15 minutes early and our background-checked kids team takes it from there.

Do you have a nursery?

Yes. Safe, clean, and staffed by background-checked volunteers. Check-in is 15 minutes before the service starts.

I have a question that isn't here.

Ask away. Email info@faithbc.net or fill out our Connect form and a real person will get back to you.

We've been hoping you'd come.

Whenever you're ready — this Sunday, next month, or the one after — we'll have a seat saved.
