Who we are

A ministry of FAITH, built for preschoolers.

FAITH Child Development Center (FBCDC) was established in 1981 as a ministry of FAITH Glen Burnie — 45 years and counting. Our goal is to provide a quality preschool program for the community that aids in the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of your child in a loving, learning environment.

Our staff consists of loving, Christian teachers and assistants with many years of experience in early childhood education. Teaching credentials are kept up-to-date yearly through continuing education classes and conferences. Along with their expertise and tenure at FAITH CDC, the staff brings the love of Christ into each classroom.

Our center is licensed under the Maryland State Department of Education Childcare Division (MSDE license #62567).

What we offer

Flexible options. Ready hearts.

Every child is different. So is every family's schedule. Here's how we make it work.

Ages 2–3

Two-day, three-day, or five-day per week programs give families flexibility to choose what works best.

Four-year-olds

Three-day or five-day per week programs that prepare your child with kindergarten-ready skills.

Before & After Care

Extended hours from 7a to 5:30p for families who need a longer day. Drop-in options available too.

Summer Programs

Five-days per week summer programs with extended hours keep the learning (and the fun) going year-round.

Maryland Model Curriculum

Our program incorporates the Maryland Model for School Readiness — math, language, science, social studies, and art, woven through weekly themes.

Faith Woven In

Christian principles taught daily through Bible stories and Scripture, alongside personal, physical, and social development.

The center

Eight classrooms. One full gym.
An outdoor playground.

Our Center consists of eight bright, spacious classrooms, each with child-appropriate restrooms. On rainy or cold days, the full-sized gymnasium in our Family Life Center gives the children an alternate area for basketball, bike riding, and games. On warm days, the children play on our state-of-the-art fenced playground — complete with climbing equipment, a sandbox, and sliding boards, all on a safe rubber-chipped surface.

Each classroom offers opportunities for artistic expression and play through books, blocks, musical instruments, home-living centers, and puzzles. Classes are based on each child's age and abilities.
