Baptism is a physical, visible sign that you have been saved by Jesus Christ. It doesn't save us — Jesus saves us through faith in His death and resurrection. But baptism is the outward way you tell the world that you've made a decision to follow Jesus.
When we are lowered into the water, we identify ourselves with Christ's death on our behalf. We admit that our sinful self is being put to death. When we are raised out of the water, we identify ourselves with Jesus' resurrection, which brings us abundant, eternal life.
Baptism shows the world that you belong to Jesus. It's also a requirement for church membership at FAITH — it shows that you're serious about following Jesus and being part of His family.
When you get baptized at FAITH, one of our volunteers will read aloud your testimony before the whole church. This is your chance to tell the congregation how Jesus saved you — your journey, what God has done in your life, and why you're committing to follow Him.
Your story matters. Other people in that room may be struggling with the same things you struggled with. Your testimony might be exactly what someone needs to hear.
You don't need to write it yet. Once you sign up below and we schedule your baptism, we'll email you a private link with a full guide and a place to submit your testimony — along with everything else you'll need.
If you've committed your life to Jesus and want to take this next step, we'd love to baptize you. Fill out the form below and our team will reach out to walk you through it. You don't need to have your testimony written first — we'll help you with that.
Baptism is your public yes to Jesus. After that, you're part of the FAITH family — we want to help you grow in your faith, connect with other believers, and discover how God is calling you to serve.
