FAITH Child Development Center (FBCDC) was established over 42 years ago as a ministry of FAITH. Our goal is to provide a quality preschool program for the community that aids in the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development of your child in a loving, learning environment. It is our commitment to you and your family to provide a quality Christian program.

Our staff consists of loving, Christian teachers and assistants with many years of experience in early childhood education. Teaching credentials are kept up-to-date yearly through continuing education classes and conferences. Along with their expertise in early childhood education and tenure at FAITH CDC, the staff brings the love of Christ into each classroom. All of our staff are church members who are actively involved in various children's ministries.

Our Center consists of eight bright, spacious classrooms with child-appropriate restrooms. On rainy or cold days, the full-sized gymnasium provides an alternate area for physical activities such as basketball, bike riding, and games. On warm days, the children enjoy activities on our state-of-the-art, fenced playground, which includes climbing equipment, a sandbox, and sliding boards, all on a rubber-chipped surface.

Our center is licensed under the Maryland State Department of Education Childcare Division. Our program is designed for children who are two through four years of age. The Maryland Model for School Readiness is incorporated into the weekly classroom themes. Classes are based on each child's age and abilities. Our preschool classes emphasize age-appropriate skills including math, language, science, social studies, and art. Christian principles are taught daily through the use of Bible stories and Scripture. Emphasis is also placed on personal, physical, and social development. Each classroom setting offers opportunities for artistic expression and play through the use of books, blocks, musical instruments, home-living centers, and puzzles.
